Jenny Schumann Manager, Accommodation Planning Facilities and Services Edith Cowan University

Jenny Schumann joined Edith Cowan University in 2008 as Manager, Accommodation Planning responsible for strategic asset planning and management and for developing strategies to significantly increase the efficiency and use of existing assets.

Prior to that she worked at the University of Western Australia in various roles in Facilities Management including managing the Quality Improvement Program, developing a Facilities Audit process and program, property investment and development, and accommodation planning and management.

Since joining the tertiary sector, Jenny has been actively involved in TEFMA, presenting papers at the June 2000 Workshop and October 2001 Conference as well as co-authoring the guideline published by TEFMA entitled ‘How to Undertake a Facilities Audit’ published in 2000.

Jenny was awarded the TEFMA/Zauner Construction Travel Scholarship in 2003, and was elected to the TEFMA Board as Treasurer in 2006.
