Matt joined the Tertiary Education Facilities Management Association as the General Manager in July 2023. Prior to this, Matt worked at the University of Tasmania for some 23 years in total, in the roles of Director, Facilities Management and Director, Asset Management Services. Matt also worked as the Director, Facilities and Capital Delivery at the Australian National University. Prior to joining the higher education sector, Matt spent 13 years as a senior Commissioned Officer (Facilities) in the Royal Australian Air Force, serving in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Queensland. Matt has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying), Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management. Matt is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
