TEFMA is governed by a voluntary Board of nine Directors, who work in property and facilities management roles in member institutions.
Typically, Directors are elected to the Board for a two-year term. A Director elected to the role of Vice President commences a three-year cycle culminating in the role of President, after which time they depart the Board.
The Board meets five times a year face to face, with interim teleconferences.
