TEFMA Webinar: “Our Space”, designing for change and a new way of working

Presenters:
Ethan Althofer, Senior Project Officer – Campus Development, University of Canberra
Grace Bryant, Improvement Specialist, University of Canberra

Who should attend: Staff working in facilities and campus services, design and planning, project management and change managers would benefit from attending this webinar.

What will you get from the presentation:
In 2019, the University of Canberra led an ambitious project to bring 165 professional staff back to campus, after a period of 7 years working off-site. The University implemented a project called “Our Space”, an activity based working design where professional staff work with greater autonomy and leaders focus on outcomes to achieve team goals. Hear about the consultation process, the integrated design process and lessons throughout, working with the Architect to align their thinking with the University vision. Hear about their lessons, challenges and the leadership required to support change and the issues identified by staff as barriers to change.
