What will you get from this presentation:
In this webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to discover and learn about how Wilson Security are adopting a holistic approach to improving their teams’ emergency preparedness and response within campus environments. We will be exploring the crossover between safety, security and emergency management and reviewing how Wilson Security are proposing to be innovative in this space by using a combination of:

  1. Collaboration between WHS teams, facilities management, security and emergency management stakeholders. Wilson Security explore all options and solutions in the administrative, risk and technology fields in conjunction with meaningful engagement with stakeholders. Preparedness is vital to managing emergencies;
  2. Scenario and desktop emergency management exercises complemented by Virtual Reality (VR) training packages to improve Security Officers’ response to real life threat and emergency situations; and
  3. Smart detection technology to proactively identify anomalous behaviours as well as drone technology for live people and event tracking (also for post incident debrief and investigation) and preliminary response to incidents at remote campuses.

Practical examples and case studies will be discussed, demonstrating how the synergies between innovative training solutions, technology and a deep appreciation of the unique campus environment can yield the best result for campus Security Managers. These solutions also promote a sound security and safety culture, as well as assisting in emergency preparedness and management.

Who should attend:
Staff working in facilities and campus services, Security and Risk Managers, Safety Managers, Contract Managers as well as Maintenance and Operations personnel will benefit from attending this webinar.
Generally, anyone with an interest in promoting security, safety and sound emergency management within campus environments.
