Asset Audit Guidelines

The review of the Asset Audit Guidelines was finalised in March 2021.  This document provides a framework for conducting audits of assets and facilities and is intended for use by the higher education sector and institutional owners of large complex asset portfolios. The Asset Audit Guideline does not contain prescriptive guidance or a step-by-step approach to undertaking an Asset Audit but has been compiled to complement and draw on the other TEFMA guidelines including the Strategic Asset Management (SAM) Guideline and the TEFMA Space Planning Guideline to assist in the effective management of assets and asset portfolios.
